I have photographed weddings quite literally across the world and every wedding is genuinely unique. The feedback I love the most is when couples comment positively about not just their photos but also how relaxed everybody felt. I love what I do and am privileged to have the opportunity of capturing such special moments.

My style of wedding photography is really about moments, documenting your day with pictures. There is also, of course, time for a portrait session with the bride and groom allowing you a chance to appreciate your big day. This would usually take 30 minutes or so and really is your chance to shine.
In the last 12 years I have photographed over 130 weddings, capturing weddings from the white beaches of Cuba, to the castles of Lake Guarda in Italy, Woburn Abbey, to the highlands in Scotland. Every type of venue from stately homes, to pub receptions and farmer's fields.

Martin did not disappoint. Of course he was punctual as ever and put everyone at ease. He captured some very relaxed, natural shots of guests before we went into the ceremony room and lovely pictures during the ceremony. Our photographs afterwards were taken in Abbey Gardens and at the Nags Head where we had lunch. He managed to capture the spirit of the day in candid, non posed photos. "Martin joined us for our wedding a month ago and he was brilliant. He just got stuck in and got on with everybody. All the guests commented on how approachable he was. He made taking the photos a pleasure rather than a chore which was a huge achievement given it was January and everyone was freezing.
And then we received the photos. We’d seen 2 which Martin had promised before the end of the day which were like teasers. The rest arrived within 2 weeks and I was really excited and also apprehensive. I generally hate looking at photos of myself so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were both blown away by the beauty Martin captured in the day and also you can see the love and warmth reflected in the photos. There is not one that I don’t like which is a miracle and unsurprisingly we shed a few tears going through them and reliving the day.

Married in the gorgeous gazebo within the sunken garden surrounded by friends and family in bright August sunshine and …… the odd shower! The bride and her clutch of very lovely bridesmaids all stayed the night before and got ready on the day in the Peacock Bedroom with make up artists and hair people aplenty. The ceremony was perfect and our thanks, as ever, to the faultless kentishceremony team. Fun on the front lawn with devine-times photography followed by a stroll round to the best-in-tents marquee located in the grounds just beside the cricket pitch. Chatter and laughter into the twilight; some were lured away, heady with all the space in the world to run around in, to the awesome inflatable obstacle course. Guests enjoyed a delicious hog roast followed by a salted-caramel, chocolate tiered woodland-wonderland cake. Drinks of every kind flowed from the bar which looked stunning wrapped in hessian with beautiful stencilling and fairylights. The bride and groom chose the Loft Rooms for their wedding night and stayed for the following night too! Our thanks to the most wonderful bride and groom and everyone at Lynsted Park.
