Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), Harwell Campus
Brief:
RAL approached me as they were having a recruitment drive and wanted to have some on site images of some of their current employees using the new machinery in order to attract new recruits. At the same time they also asked me to capture some of the new facilities and to capture one of their training courses all to be used for their marketing materials and website.

The Pub had recently taken on an up and coming chef "Sam Carey- “My aim is to create delicious, modern food in a great atmosphere, using the best local seasonal produce possible. The Great Shefford sits in an area which is rich in high quality local produce – fish, meat, game, fruit, vegetables. I aim to use only the very best, to create and serve dishes that I know I would be happy to eat myself.”
They wanted new images to reflect the recent changes to the team, including the staff, the dishes and the new décor. I was very pleased to get to try many of the dishes once I had photographed them.

Without actual snow we created a polystyrene scenario with each member creating their individual angel. I was positioned high up on a chair on a table overlooking them to get the shots. EqualiTeach, an equality training organisation working with education settings in the UK to deliver workshops & training for staff & young people asked me along for both their workshops for young people and for adults.
"EqualiTeach is a not-for-profit equality training and consultancy organisation. When EqualiTeach was first setting out, Martin kindly agreed to support us by taking photographs of a training day. The shots that Martin took truly caught the essence of the event. He captured the participants looking animated and engaged as they participated in the training, together with the vibrant colours of the arts studio in which the teaching took place. We have used the photographs in a range of promotional material, from flyers to our annual review and are really grateful to Martin for this contribution, which gave the organisation a much needed boost in its initial days."

Our approach is intensive and child friendly, combining fun and games with traditional physiotherapy exercises. We aim to enhance and improve the physical, cognitive and speech development of our patients, as well as increase their confidence and independence. Patients will see tangible and sustainable results which will improve their quality of life and help them to reach their full potential.
