Hello and welcome to my site. I'm Martin and I am an Oxfordshire-based photographer in the United Kingdom.
People often ask me where my interest in photography came from and I love telling them that my grandfather gave me my first box brownie (which I still have) when I was just 6 years old which opened up a world for me. I was always taking photos and would love the anticipation of seeing the results.
I have been a professional for more than 15 years now, capturing moments for over 150 weddings across the world, music venues across Europe, The Royal Henley Regatta as official photographer for the last 6 years, London Fashion Week, Corporate clients as well as photo shoots for a multitude of commissions and I now also have a permanent shop in Abingdon where I am able to showcase my work.
The taking of photographs is only a part of the process for me. I love the interaction with people, the privilege of capturing some of the most important parts of people's lives and the reactions of my clients when they receive their photos.
It is a rare thing in life to be able to earn a living from something you love and to be in a position to make people smile and I am thankful to be in that position every time I pick up a camera.
