London Fashion Week:
Brief:
Today the world of fashion photography is so varied, it is difficult to categorise it though if you had to do so, I suppose it would fall under two genres, commercial and artistic. As an official photographer at London Fashion Week, I had the opportunity to explore both aspects. The catwalk permits certain angles and the client would prefer the clean head on shots, however I also had the chance to go creative, to zoom in, to focus on the unusual. Going forward I am looking forward to working with models and clients directly for their fashion shoots and requirements, whether they are studio based (I have my own portable studio to take wherever I go) or outdoor shoots for individual portfolios. Get in touch and let me know what you're thinking...

Brief:
Brief:
The Henley Regatta was first held in 1839 and has been held annually ever since, except during the two World Wars. Originally staged by the Mayor and people of Henley as a public attraction with a fair and other amusements, the emphasis rapidly changed so that competitive amateur rowing became its main purpose. In 2016 I was approached by the committee to capture the action from that year's regatta in order to populate the brochure that is sent before the following year's regatta. I had access all areas including a private boat on the river which allowed me to capture the action on the level of the races. I have remained their official photographer since 2016.

These Paralympics were one of the largest multi-sport events ever held in the UK. I was fortunate to cover the volleyball, judo, weightlifting and table tennis.

Brief:
The Abingdon Marathon was first held in 1982 and 2019 will mark the race’s 38th year since its inception. This will be the 37th running of the race – unfortunately the 2007 event had to be abandoned. The marathon entry has grown over the years but has an entry limit of 1,200 again this year. We expect this number to be reached by the beginning of April, well before the closing date, so make sure you enter early to avoid disappointment. The 2019 Abingdon Marathon will again incorporate the following championship events: Oxfordshire County Marathon Championships and Army AA Marathon Championships. In addition, the event has also hosted the Twin Towns competition where we have always extended a big welcome to our friends from overseas, especially from Argentan, France, Abingdon’s twin town.

Abingdon Air & Country Show:
Brief:
For the last 5 years I have had the pleasure of capturing the Abingdon Air & Country Show. The event first started in 2000 as a small fete. In the years since then the show has grown in stature. Attendances have increased, and at the 2009 show there were over 10,000 people. For many years the show was known simply as the Abingdon Fayre, but in 2007 the show's title changed to Abingdon Air & Country Show to more accurately reflect the show's content.
Although held on a military establishment, the show is a civilian event. It is organised entirely by volunteers, with proceeds being donated to a local charity.

The day concludes with a finale act on the stage in the Market Place followed by the switch on of the Christmas Lights at 6pm, followed by fireworks.
