Pets are one of the family and these pictures really should come under the family section of the website though in some ways they also deserve their own section. Whether it's a cat or a dog, a catfish or a rabbit, a horse or a hamster, when I have been asked to capture people's pets, I genuinely believe I photograph them very much in the same way I would a child. That is to say, I will always try to capture the personality and emotion in the pet, regardless of its species.
