​The Secret Paris of the 30's is a landmark photographic memoir by the Hungarian-French photographer Brassaï (Gyula Halász), first published in 1976.

The Concept: While Brassaï achieved fame with his 1933 book Paris de Nuit (Paris by Night), many of his more provocative photographs were deemed too risqué or illegal to publish at the time.
