This preserves battery life and drastically decreases the recycling time between consecutive flashes when shooting close up.

Computer Automation: The unit features an integrated light sensor on the front. This sensor automatically calculates the correct flash duration based on your pre-selected aperture and film speed (ASA/ISO), eliminating the need for manual flash math or distance calculations.
